Samantha Byrns

Samantha is a board-certified, licensed mental health practitioner who utilizes a non-judgmental approach to establish trust and understanding that can inform treatment based on experiences.  She is passionate about working with families, early childhood development and supporting system practices to enhance children's wellbeing.  Samantha received her Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) Master of Science in Education degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney

Jacqueline A. Yenni, MA, LMHP, PLADC

Jacqueline

Jaqueline A. Yenni offers licensed mental health and substance abuse services for clients of every age.  She provides diverse techniques and a personalized approach in her clinical work with children, including Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), play therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy.  Jacqueline considers every child's level of development and interests, carefully adapting her services to her clients' treatment needs.  Jacqueline also provides individual, family and marital counseling for adults. She is a lifelong resident of North Platte.



King Mueller, MS, LMHP

King Mueller

King is a licensed mental health practitioner, working as a therapist since 2005 with several years' previous experience in law enforcement.  He works with individuals, couples and families and utilizes a cognitive-behavioral approach with an interest in mindfulness practices.  He is trained in biofeedback and neurofeedback to treat a variety of mind-body issues.  He is a native of Illinois, educated at the University of Iowa for his Bachelor's degree and received his Masters at the University of Nebraska-Kearney.  He has lived with his wife Karen in North Platte since 1987.




John S. Guethlein, PhD, LIMHP

John S. Guethlein

John Is a licensed independent mental health therapist with a Masters in Counseling Psychology and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.John has provided mental health services in the community of North Platte since the fall of 1994.  He has extensive experience working with adults and adolescents coping with ADHD, anger management and behavioral issues; John also provides therapy for a wide range of issues that can be addressed in individual and family sessions.  A longtime resident of North Platte, John volunteers his time with a number of organizations for young people.  John can be contacted directly at [email protected] or by phone at 308.530.4295.  


Susan Gayle Lawson, MS, LIMHP

Susan Gayle Lawson

For 16 years, Susan Gayle Lawson has specialized in counseling related to weight and obesity, marital and divorce issues, family transition, children of divorce, women's issues, anger management and domestic violence.  A genuine farmer's daughter, Gayle was raised in western Kansas; she is now a proud Nebraskan of more than 30 years.  Gayle loves music, particularly the piano, enjoys an active lifestyle and serves as an aerobic dance instructor. She is the mother of three adult sons.

Dave Lund specializes in mental health and substance abuse services, and is also certified to help those with infractions related to the Department of Transportation. Dave has extensive experience working with adolescents and adults with a wide range of issues; he also provides marital and family sessions. Dave and his wife have raised three children in North Platte. Dave is also a member of several local non-profit boards and is active in various community projects. Karen Mueller, MA, LIMHP

Karen Mueller is an independently licensed mental health practitioner, working as a therapist since 1986. She provides individual, couples and family counseling; in addition to her general practice, Karen worksspecifically with compulsive disorders, adolescents, domestic violence issues, trauma and has an interest in mind-body techniques. A native of Illinois, Karen was educated at the University of Iowa and lives in North Platte with her husband King and their dogs; she enjoys yoga and other fitness pursuits and designs jewelry in her spare time.
